Reservations Open for 2012 Celebration of Bookselling Luncheon

The spirit of indie booksellers and the recipients of the 2012 Indies Choice and E.B. White Read-Aloud awards will be honored at ABA’s Celebration of Bookselling Author Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, June 5, at BookExpo America [1]. Reservations [2] for this very popular, free event are open exclusively to booksellers at ABA member stores. Space is limited, so reservations will be accepted from two booksellers at each member store on a first-come, first-served basis.

Always a highlight for ABA members at BEA, the luncheon will bring together indie booksellers and dozens of authors whose works have appeared on the Indie Next Lists. The 2012 winners of the Indies Choice Book Awards and the E.B. White Read-Aloud Awards will be feted, and all of this year’s finalists will be invited to attend.

Each bookseller who would like to attend the Celebration Luncheon should complete the electronic reservation form on Bookweb.org [2] as soon as possible. Questions regarding the luncheon should be sent via e-mail to ABA Development Officer Mark Nichols. [3]

There’s still time for booksellers to cast their ballots [4] for the 2012 Indies Choice and E.B. White awards. The winners will be announced in BTW on April 5.
