Fundraiser Underway for Book Cellar Staff Member

Last week, Jon Fullmer, a longtime bookseller at The Book Cellar [1] in Chicago, and his wife, Amelia, lost their apartment and belongings in a fire. The couple is preparing to welcome a baby, due in June. Renter's insurance will cover some of their costs, but The Book Cellar has stepped in to help.

The bookstore has created a Paypal account [2]to accept donations for the Fullmers and will be hosting a Reading Benefit/Baby Shower [3] on Friday, with local writers and friends rallying to support the couple. Updates are being posted on The Book Cellar’s Facebook page [4].
