Reservations Open for Celebration of Bookselling Author Awards Luncheon

The spirit of indie booksellers and the recipients of the 2011 Indies Choice and E.B. White Read-Aloud awards will be honored at ABA’s Celebration of Bookselling Author Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, May 24, at BookExpo America 2011 [1]. Reservations [2] for this very popular, free event are open exclusively to booksellers at ABA member stores. Since space is limited, reservations will be accepted from two booksellers at each member store on a first-come, first-served basis.

Always a highlight for ABA members at BEA, the luncheon will bring together indie booksellers and dozens of authors whose works have appeared on the Indie Next Lists. This year, for the first time, the celebration will include the presentation of both the 2011 Indies Choice Book Awards and the E.B. White Read-Aloud Awards.

Each bookseller who would like to attend the Celebration Luncheon should complete the electronic reservation form on Bookweb.org [2] as soon as possible. Questions regarding the luncheon should be sent via e-mail to Mark Nichols, ABA industry relations officer [3].
