Last Call for Celebrate (With) Indies Promos

This Friday, April 5, is the deadline for stores to sign up to participate in this spring’s Celebrate (With) Indies [1]multi-publisher promotions. Booksellers can choose to participate in one, some, or all four offerings that provide marketing opportunities and more [2] surrounding three major buying periods — Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduations — and that allow them to do what they do best — promote debut authors.

Stores that are not yet taking part in the promotion can sign up at BookWeb.org/celebrate [2]. The website features full details, including title lists, for the promotions that celebrate debut authors, moms, dads, and grads.

The selection of adult and children’s frontlist and backlist titles for the Celebrate Moms, Celebrate Dads, and Celebrate Grads promotions were chosen by independent booksellers, and many have appeared on the Indie Next and Indie Bestseller lists.

The Celebrate Debut Authors With Indies promotion is being offered twice in 2013. Spring/summer titles and full details for the first offer are available now; the second list of titles will be announced in fall 2013. All stores who want to participate in the debut promotion must select their titles. Weekly sales reporting to BookScan is required for some titles in the Debut Author promotion.
