2010 Day of Education Handouts Available
The American Booksellers Association has made session materials for next Tuesday's Day of Education accessible to all member booksellers via download from BookWeb.org. In addition, member booksellers who stop by the ABA Booksellers Lounge (Room 1E07/08 of the Javits Convention Center) at BookExpo America can pick up the materials for the Day of Education, sponsored by Ingram, on a USB memory stick. (This small device plugs into a computer and functions as an external drive.)
Other materials available for pick-up in the lounge (while supplies last) include a journal, courtesy of W.G. Ellerkamp Paper Company; the most up-to-date Day of Education schedule; a Frommer's Guide to New York City; and a special gift, courtesy of Other Press, a Who is Mr. Toppit? umbrella.
The ABA Booksellers Lounge is also the place for members to take a break from the hectic trade show floor, check e-mail, recharge laptops, learn about ABA products and services, and have books autographed by some of their favorite authors.
On Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito, the authors of Baked Explorations: Classic America Desserts Reinvented (October 2010, Stewart, Tabori & Chang), will be in the lounge serving breakfast treats from their renowned bakery, in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
