ABC Best Books Catalog on Its Way

This year’s ABC Best Books for Children Catalog will soon be arriving at ABA member stores.

Imprinted catalogs and other special orders have already begun shipping, and automatic shipments of 250 catalogs without imprinting are scheduled to start arriving at ABC Children’s Group member stores around October 15.

All other ABA member stores are being sent 20 free catalogs with no imprinting in the October Red Box.

The ABC Best Books Catalog carries no fourth quarter branding so booksellers can use it throughout the year.  As in years past, booksellers can use the catalog in a variety of creative ways to drum up business! 

This year’s cover, which was chosen by the ABC Advisory Council, features artwork by William Joyce from The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore (Atheneum). The back cover includes a half-page of white space, where booksellers who haven’t already imprinted their catalogs can add their store name, address, telephone number, e-mail and web addresses, logo, and more. 

The ABC Best Books for Children Catalog is also available in PDF format for use on store websites and in newsletters. Additionally, an updated list of the 2012 catalog offerings in Excel spreadsheet format is available to stores upon request.  An electronic version of the catalog for IndieCommerce websites is forthcoming.
