Bestseller Reporting Crucial During Holiday Season
As ABA CEO Oren Teicher noted last week in his bimonthly letter to members, indie booksellers are heading into this holiday season on a strong note, and, at the end of October, the approximately 500 stores reporting to the weekly Indie Bestsellers List were showing double-digit increases over 2011 for the year to date.
With the holiday selling season kicking off in full force this week, it is crucially important that all stores continue to report each week’s sales to the Indie Bestseller Lists. The aggregated Bestseller reporting data provides ABA with hard evidence that demonstrates to publishers and other industry stakeholders the strength of local independent booksellers.
Don’t forget to take a moment to report your sales this week and every week!
