Consortium Announces New Publisher Clients

Consortium Book Sales & Distribution has announced the addition of five new publishers for the Spring 2011 season: Gentle Path Press, 3D Total Publishing, Biblioasis, Dialogue, and Fence Books.

Consortium began selling titles from Gentle Path Press this month; titles from the other publisherswill be available from Consortium beginning January 1, 2011.

Wiley to Publish Web-Based Catalogs via Edelweiss

John Wiley & Sons is the latest publishers to select Edelweiss, Above the Treeline's interactive publisher catalog system, to publish catalogs on the web.

Above the Treeline noted that the addition of Wiley means that 12 of the top 13 trade publishers in the U.S. are now using Edelweiss to sell and promote their titles to book industry professionals, and another 19 mid-size to large publishers are using Edelweiss to reduce printed sales materials and share information more efficiently and effectively.
