Little, Brown Celebrates 175 Years

Little, Brown and Company is marking its 175th anniversary with special events throughout the year and a backlist offer for independent booksellers.

Bookstores can earn incremental coop dollars by stocking up on classic selected Little, Brown backlist titles and promoting them in-store with a “LB 175^th Anniversary” dedicated space. Details are available from a bookstore’s sales rep or the Little, Brown Sales Department at (800) 934-252.

All Little, Brown titles published in 2012 will feature a special 175th Anniversary logo. And, in addition to public and in-house events to commemorate its legacy, Little Brown will host a celebration in its booth at BookExpo America.

The very long list of notable authors published by Little, Brown since its founding in 1837 includes Louisa May Alcott, J.D. Salinger, James Patterson, David Sedaris, Alice Sebold, Malcolm Gladwell, Luis Alberto Urrea, James Bradley, and David Foster Wallace.
