A London Book Fair Invite

Chuck and Dee Robinson of Village Books in Bellingham, Washington, are leading a group of U.S. booksellers who will be attending The London Book Fair as VIP guests of the event's sponsors. In addition to special passes to the fair, the excursion will include a literary pub crawl of Bloomsbury, author breakfasts and lunches, a side trip to Oxford, and more. Since only a few spots remain open, booksellers interested in attending the April 14 - 16 show in Earls Court, London, should contact Chuck Robinson for information as soon as possible.

Participants will need to make their own travel arrangements and will pay for their hotel accommodations at a specially arranged book fair price. Entrance to the book fair and all other special events will be sponsored by publishers and partners of The London Book Fair.

Among those already signed up for the excursion are Barbara Morrow of Northshire Bookstore in Manchester Center, Vermont; Roberta Rubin of The Bookstall at Chestnut Court in Winnetka, Illinois; Neil Van Uum of the Joseph-Beth Bookstores, based in Cincinnati, Ohio; Tony and Catherine Weller of Sam Weller's Bookstore in Salt Lake City, Utah; and Carla Cohen of Politics and Prose in Washington, D.C.

For more information, contact Robinson at chuck@villagebooks.com or (360) 671-2626 or (360) 319-6069.
