Oprah Names Newest Book Club Selection

Oprah's 59th Book Club Selection is Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, published in both English and Spanish-language editions by Vintage Books. The announcement was made by Oprah on Friday, October 5.

Noting that Love in the Time of Cholera is about love in all of its guises, the Oprah website offers an excerpt from the novel, and asks readers to share their amazing love stories.

A major motion picture based on the novel will be released on November 16 by New Line/Stone Village Pictures.
