O'Reilly Tools of Change Online Conference Discount for ABA Members

O'Reilly Media, Inc., is offering ABA members a 25 percent discount on its upcoming, online Tools of Change for Publishing Conference. The conference will be held online on Thursday, October 8, from noon to 3:20 p.m. EDT.

Since the last O'Reilly Tools of Change for Publishing Conference, in February 2009, digital issues have continued to challenge the industry and to create opportunities for innovation. To continue the conversation, O'Reilly is hosting a half-day online conference to explore the state of the art in electronic publishing and to address the main issues surrounding e-Books: pricing, what readers want from an e-Books, and what the future holds for e-Readers and other similar technologies.

In an online conference, participants log on and attend sessions, enter into discussions with other participants and presenters using the live chat, and are able to pose questions and interact with people from all over the world. It has a similar structure to a physical conference, except that you attend the sessions via your computer from the convenience of your office or home. There will be breaks between sessions where participants can enjoy conversations with their fellow attendees.
