Redesigned, Expanded Book Sense Bestseller List to Launch with BTW Online

Bookselling This Week online launches on January 10, and to help accommodate the conversion to an online format, the Book Sense Bestseller List has been redesigned and expanded--offering more coverage for children's books, mass-market titles, and highlighted titles of interest.

Importantly, the Bestseller List will be available to booksellers in an easily downloadable PDF file at BookWeb.org.

Now in a printer-friendly 8 1/2" by 11" format, the Book Sense Bestsellers will be displayed on three pages of lists: Hardcover, Paperback, and Children's. Booksellers with color printers will be able to print the lists in color (or print them at your local copy shop). However, care has been taken to ensure that the new design works well in black and white.

In the redesign, the expanded Children's list now will include 15 fiction and 15 picture books. As a separate list, the Book Sense Children's Bestsellers can be posted in the Children's section for key positioning. The new Bestseller List will also include more "On the Rise" and "May We Recommend" titles.

The new list will be available on January 10 at www.BookWeb.org/booksense/bestsellers.
