Remainder, Gift Pavilions Open Monday at BEA
For buyers looking to get a jump on remainders and non-book items at BookExpo America, the CIROBE Remainders Pavilion and the BEA Gift Shop Pavilion will open one day earlier than the rest of the trade show floor.
The Remainders Pavilion, hosted by the Chicago International Remainder & Overstock Book Expo, will feature recent, unique, and hard-to-find books, music, and sidelines. Icons denote new and international exhibitors on the Remainder Pavilion Exhibitor List.
The Gift Shop Pavilion will put the spotlight on non-book items, such as board games, educational items, reading lights, bookmarks, journals, recyclable bags, cards, plush toys, stationery, craft items, puzzles, toys, DVDs, reading glasses, and writing instruments. Exhibitors featuring products made in America are identified on the Gift Pavilion exhibitor list via a Made in America icon.
Both pavilions will open on Monday, June 4, from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The rest of the trade show floor doesn’t open until 9:00 a.m. the following day.
Also scheduled for Monday are ABA’s Day of Education, sponsored by the Ingram Content Group, which runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and BEA educational programming, to be capped by the Adult Editors Buzz, from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Regular trade show hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 5 and 6, and 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7.
