There's Still Time to RSVP for ABA's Open House

As a special way to welcome booksellers to BookExpo America and the ABA Convention, the association is sponsoring an Open House for booksellers at its headquarters in Tarrytown, New York, on May 1 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The offices are located at 828 South Broadway in Tarrytown, just 20 miles north of New York City, along the historic Hudson River, and just across from Washington Irving's home. ABA Board of Directors and staff will be on hand at the open house, and refreshments will be served.

Buses will leave for ABA at 2:15 p.m. from the New York Hilton and Towers, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, and will depart for Manhattan at 5:00 p.m.

Interested booksellers should RSVP to Kristen Gilligan no later than April 8. She can be reached at (800) 637-0037, ext. 1286 or kristen@bookweb.org. A few weeks prior to BEA, ABA will send an e-mail with further details to all booksellers who have indicated that they wish to attend.
