Three Quick Reminders About Book Sense Picks

First, looking ahead, booksellers wishing to send in nominations for future Book Sense Picks lists have two upcoming deadlines:

• October Book Sense Picks -- August 6
• Halloween/Get Caught Reading Top Ten -- August 6

Once again, Book Sense will be working in collaboration with the Association of American Publishers to develop the Halloween/Get Caught Reading Top Ten, and nominations for the list can be either children's or adult trade titles. (Last year's list ran the gamut, from The Hallo-Wiener to In a Strange City.)

Booksellers can send nominations for either list directly to Book Sense Picks Editor-in-Chief Dan Cullen at dan@booksense.com, or they can use the online nomination form at www.bookweb.org/read/6305.

Second, a listing of bibliographic information for more titles that were nominated as Book Sense Picks for the time period covering the August list but that were not chosen for either the Picks list or the "We Also Recommend…" list is available at www.bookweb.org/read/7177.
