Wisconsin Forum Saturday, Oregon Next Week
American Booksellers Association staff is hoping to see as many booksellers as possible at a Booksellers Forum and Education Program to be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Saturday, March 10, and in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday, March 15.
The programs offer booksellers an opportunity to learn more about ABA's programs and initiatives, as well as to voice opinions and concerns that will help formulate the direction of the association's next five-year strategic plan. Additionally, at each, ABA staff will be presenting education sessions.
The Milwaukee program is being held in conjunction with the Midwest Booksellers Association (MBA) at the Country Inn and Suites - Milwaukee West in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
The Portland program is being offered as part of the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Spring Show's day of education on Thursday, March 15, at the Holiday Inn, Portland Airport.
All ABA and regional association members are invited. For planning purposes, booksellers who will be attending ABA programming are asked to contact ABA's Margaret Nafz at margaret@bookweb.org or (800) 637-0037, ext. 6614.
