A new package of editable e-book marketing materials for the holidays is now available on IndieCommerce.com and in the Bookseller DIY on BookWeb.org.

Based on sales at independent bookstores nationwide for the eight-week period ending December 5, 2010.

This week, the American Booksellers Association unveils the 2010 Indie Bestsellers Lists, featuring the year’s top-selling titles at hundreds of independent bookstores across the country.

Here’s a preview of the Indie Next List Great Reads and “Now in Paperback” titles, featured with jacket images, on the January 2011 Indie Next List flier, on its way to ABA member stores in the IndieBound movement.

Along with wishes for a busy holiday season, ABA sends a reminder to member stores that it’s also a crucial time to demonstrate to the industry the power of independents by reporting to the Indie Bestseller List.

The Winter 2010/2011 Children’s Indie Next List flier features the top 10 titles for the winter publishing season and an additional 42 selections, spanning all age groups, based on nominations from independent booksellers nationwide.

Holiday designs for posters, gift tags, bookmarks, and a Wish List counter card are available to all ABA member stores in the IndieBound Bookseller DIY.

Here are Indie Next List deadlines for the 2011 lists. They’re also available as a downloadable PDF, so they can be easily posted in your store’s back room or wherever you keep reading copies and ARCs.
