2012 Fall New Voices Picks Announced
The 2012 New Voices Committee rounded out its hard work for the year by reading more than 90 fall-release titles by first-time authors. Committee members read, voted on, and selected 12 noteworthy and exciting debuts publishing between July 1, 2012, and the end of the year in two categories: Ages 8 - 12 and Teen.

The Fall New Voices Picks will be featured in a two-page spread in the ABC Best Books for Children catalog, which will be available in early October. Shelf-talkers to promote the fall picks will be sent in the September Red Box mailing exclusively to members of the ABC Group at ABA. The list of Fall New Voices is featured with bookseller quotes on IndieBound.org.
The members of the New Voices Committee (listed below) have completed their duties for 2012, and ABA thanks them for their service. A new committee will be formed in January to pick the best New Voices of 2013.
