ABA Book Buyer's Handbook Update for the Week of September 9

Below is a list of the most significant recent changes to the ABA Book Buyer's Handbook online.

Booksellers are strongly encouraged to alert ABA of changing terms that come to their attention. Publishers are asked to inform ABA immediately of any changes to terms and contact information.

A form is available at http://handbook.bookweb.org/form.jsp that booksellers and publishers can use to report changing terms. The association will soon be launching the Publisher Administration section of the Handbook site, which will allow publishers to view and edit their listings online. All companies currently in the Handbook will receive a letter within the next few weeks, which will include their company access code.

Recent changes that have been made to the ABA Book Buyer's Handbook online:

Alpha Books frontlist titles are now distributed by Penguin Putnam Inc.

Boston Mills Press is now part of Firefly Books Ltd.

Fair Winds Press is now distributed by F&W Publications.

Fitzroy Dearborn Publishers is now distributed by Taylor & Francis Group.

Food First is now distributed by Client Distribution Services.

Image Comics is now distributed by Diamond Book Distributors.

Moyer Bell is now distributed by Client Distribution Services.

Park Avenue Publishers, Inc. is now distributed by Client Distribution Services.

Publishers Group West Inc. now distributes Greystone Books, Kidwick Books, and One Hour Entertainment.

Sleeping Bear Press is now distributed by Gale Group.

Words Distributing Company now distributes: Napolean Publishing, RendezVous Press, Silverback Books, Simply Read Books, and Yellow Moon Press.
