Airline, Amtrak Travel Discounts Available for Wi8

If you’ve registered for Winter Institute 8, and made your hotel reservations at Missouri’s Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, now’s the time to book your travel arrangements. American Airlines, Delta and Delta Connection, and Amtrak are offering discounts to Wi8 registrants for travel to Kansas City, from Friday, February 16, to Saturday, March 2, 2013.

• American Airlines offers a five percent discount for travel between February 16 and March 2 to the Kansas City International airport (MCI). Flights can be booked online at www.aa.com/group for AA/AE flights only, without a ticketing charge, allow at least one business hour for AA.com loading. Use the Authorization Number 8523BR as the AA.com Promotion Code. Other restrictions may apply.
   
• Delta and Delta Connection is offering the following discounts for travel between February 16 and March 2 to the Kansas City International airport (MCI):   Full / Non-Restricted 10 percent discount;  Discounted / Restricted five percent discount.
  
  Reservations and ticketing are available via www.delta.com or by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at (800) 328-1111. A Direct Ticketing Charge will apply for booking by phone. When booking online, select Meeting Event Code and enter the Meeting ID NMEJU in the box provided on the Search Flight page. Discounts applicable to U.S. and Canada originating passengers. Contract not valid with other discounts, certificates, coupons, or promotional offers. Not all fares are eligible for use with this contract. Fare rules will determine eligibility. • Amtrak offers a 10 percent discount off the best available rail fare to Kansas City, Missouri, between February 16 and March 2. (Union Station is across the street from The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center and is a short walk via the Link, a protected, raised walkway.)

Use Convention Fare Code X48L-955 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts.
