Book Sense Welcomes Another New Publisher Partner

Book Sense recently welcomed Creative Publishing international to its ever-growing family of Publisher Partners.

Founded in 1969, Creative Publishing international is a worldwide publisher of how-to books, as well as a premier publisher of nature, photography, and wildlife books for children and adults under its NorthWord Press imprint. Over the past 15 years, CPi has developed high-quality photography step-by-step books with nationally recognized brand partners like Black & Decker and Singer.

Since 1989, the NorthWord imprint has published books for young readers on animals and nature, helping to educate children about the living world around them. NorthWord's growing national list includes trade picture books and nonfiction nature and wildlife titles in interactive and fun-to-read forms. In addition to children's books, NorthWord Press also publishes beautiful nature and wildlife books for adults, featuring photography by the likes of Jim Brandenburg.

The company's current retail offering includes over 500 titles on topics covering home improvement, gardening, home decorating, sewing, crafting, hunting and fishing, children's picture books, nature and wildlife, and photography. Titles of note include Black & Decker: The Complete Photo Guide to Home Repair; Preparing Fish & Wild Game; Flea Market Style by Jerri Farris and Tim Himsel; Baby Play, developed in consultation with experts from Gymboree Play & Music; Children of the Earth … Remember by Schim Schimmel; the forthcoming photographic essay No Boundaries: Spirit of Adventure; as well as The Heart of a Champion by Frank Deford, celebrating the inspirational stories of many of the greatest athletes and teams to appear on a Wheaties box. The last two titles will be published in September 2002.

Book Sense applauds the quality and integrity evident in all of the titles published by Creative Publishing international, and is pleased to welcome them as a Publisher Partner.
