Booksellers Forum Tour to End April 25 in Massachusetts
The American Booksellers Association spring Booksellers Forum tour will end on Wednesday, April 25, with a program in conjunction with the New England Independent Booksellers Association’s “All About the Books!” Author Luncheon and Education Program.
The event, which is open to all ABA and NEIBA members, will be held at Springstep (98 George P. Hassett Drive) in Medford, Massachusetts. On hand from ABA will be CEO Oren Teicher, Senior Program Officer Joy Dallengra-Sanger, Content Officer Dan Cullen, and Member Relationship Manager Kaitlin Pitcher.

11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.: NEIBA Author Readings and Boxed Lunch with Authors

1:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: ABA’s “The Best of Winter Institute 7’s Best Practices Sessions”
The 2012 Winter Institute featured a series of 12 half-hour “Best Practices” sessions on everything from on finances, relationship building, children’s bookselling, technology, and more. “The Best of the Best” is a roundup of booksellers’ top tips from these sessions. ABA Education is sponsored by Ingram Content Group.

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: ABA Booksellers Forum
ABA senior staff will lead an open forum and discussion of industry issues. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared to share their questions and comments.
