Final Week to Vote for Indies Choice & E.B. White Awards

With the March 31 voting deadline for the 2011 Indies Choice Book Awards and the E.B. White Read-Aloud Awards now just days away, the American Booksellers Association is urging booksellers who haven’t already cast their electronic ballots to do so now. All owners and staff at ABA member stores are eligible to vote to choose the winners, who will be announced on April 7.

All of the winners and finalists will be invited to ABA’s Celebration of Bookselling Author Awards Luncheon, to be held on Tuesday, May 24, at BookExpo America. Reservations for the very popular Celebration are free and open exclusively to booksellers at ABA member stores. Since space is limited, reservations will be accepted from two booksellers at each member store on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each bookseller who would like to attend the Celebration Luncheon should complete the electronic reservation form on Bookweb.org as soon as possible. Questions regarding the luncheon should be sent via e-mail to Mark Nichols, ABA industry relations officer.
