New Materials Added to Reorganized Kobo Resource Page
ABA member stores will find a number of newly added resources on BookWeb’s Kobo Bookseller Resource page to help them market and sell Kobo eBooks, eReaders, and accessories.
Among the new materials added in response to member requests are:
-
A printable Kobo overview for customers — a PDF of a two-sided, letter-size document introducing the Kobo world to customers. Participating stores are encouraged to print and display this.
-
Web-appropriate Kobo overview content — a DOCX file of largely the same content as the printable overview but intended for participating stores to copy and paste into their own sites. It features many links to frequently asked questions and videos.
-
Training and help videos for the Kobo Mini and Glo — multiple videos for each device, available via Kobo.com, are good for training booksellers and helping consumers.
- Mini and Glo demo mode and set-up instructions — available in both PPT and PDF formats — tell stores how to turn on demo-mode on their display devices.
Materials are being added to the Resource page on an ongoing basis, so stores should check back often. New DIY materials are also expected to be available by the end of the week. Booksellers with questions about any of the resources or DIY materials should contact ABA Marketing Manager and Designer Greg Galloway.
Booksellers are also reminded to read the Kobo Brand Guidelines and Retail MAPP Policy before creating their own print and online marketing materials.
