Opening a Bookstore Workshop Begins March 15

Training to own and operate a new bookstore may be the most critical investment a person can make in his or her new venture. The Bookstore Training Group of Paz & Associates is conducting a workshop retreat this month that offers participants an opportunity to immerse themselves in the book industry, learn strategies, and find contacts to help launch a successful independent bookstore.

"Opening a Bookstore: The Business Essentials" will be held from March 15 - 19 on Amelia Island (near Jacksonville, Florida). The week will focus on key topics, from start-up costs and strategies for making a profit to choosing a computerized management system and selecting an opening inventory.
