Shelf-Talker Highlights Indie Next List Deadlines

The newly updated Indie Next List nomination shelf-talker draws staff attention to upcoming Indie Next List nomination deadlines. The shelf-talker, which highlights nine deadlines over the next five months, is ideal for placement in a bookstore’s back room or wherever staff reading copies and ARCs are kept.

The complete list of 2012 Indie Next List nomination deadlines is also available for download.

This Friday, February 17, is the deadline for nominations for the Poetry Top 10, which will be produced in PDF format in time for the April celebration of National Poetry Month. Booksellers are encouraged to nominate the titles that they are enthusiastically looking forward to handselling, either by using the online nomination form or by e-mailing their nominations to indienextlist@bookweb.org. (Booksellers who are not receiving regular e-mail reminders about Indie Next deadlines can sign-up by sending an e-mail with the words “Deadline Reminders” in the subject line to ABA Development Officer Mark Nichols.)
