Call for Photos for Summer Book Sense New Yorker Insert
The next special Book Sense feature in The New Yorker will appear in the July 14 issue, on sale July 7, and will highlight summer paperback reading. To complement the story, the magazine is once again seeking photographs of bookstores with Book Sense. All Book Sense stores are encouraged to send photographs of their stores, especially good exterior shots, by May 21.
Digital photos are preferable, but color glossy prints, no larger than 4" x 6", may also be sent. Digital photos, approximately 3" x 5" and 300 dpi, saved as JPEG or TIFF files, can be e-mailed to Christine Babcock at chris@bookweb.org. Multiple pictures may be sent as a stuffed file (.sit). PDF or ZIP files should not be sent, but photos saved on a ZIP disk are acceptable. Mail should be sent to Christine Babcock, ABA, 828 South Broadway, Tarrytown, New York 10591.
All photos should be labeled with store name, city, and state. Photos will not be returned.
