Wanted: Photos of Children's Bookstores for Fall New Yorker Insert

Children's titles will be the feature of the next Book Sense New Yorker insert, which will appear in the October 6 issue, on sale September 29. To complement the story, the magazine is seeking photographs, especially good exterior shots, of children's bookstores with Book Sense.

August 7 is the deadline for submission of photos for The New Yorker's consideration. Digital photos are preferable, but color glossy prints, no larger than 4" x 6", may also be sent. Digital photos, approximately 3" x 5" and 300 dpi, saved as JPEG or TIFF files, may be e-mailed to Christine Babcock at chris@bookweb.org. Multiple pictures may be sent as a stuffed file (.sit). PDF or ZIP files should not be sent, but photos saved on a ZIP disk are acceptable. Mail should be sent to Christine Babcock, ABA, 828 South Broadway, Tarrytown, New York 10591.

All photos must be labeled with store name, city, and state. Photos will not be returned.
