Celebration Waiting List Now Forming

Following an avalanche of reservations this past weekend, the Celebration of Bookselling Author Awards Luncheon at BookExpo America is now booked to capacity.

ABA member booksellers without reservations can complete the Celebration reservations form online to have their names added to a waiting list. As cancellations are received, booksellers on the waiting list will be notified on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Celebration Luncheon will be held from 12:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, in the Javits Convention Center’s Special Events Hall. The event, which is free and open exclusively to booksellers at ABA member store, will feature the presentation of the 2012 Indies Choice and E.B. Read-Aloud awards. Many of this year’s winners and honor recipients will be on hand to accept booksellers’ congratulations.

Booksellers with Celebration reservations that are no longer needed are asked to notify ABA Development Officer Mark Nichols, so that waiting booksellers can fill their seats.
