Reservations Open for 2013 Celebration of Bookselling Luncheon

The American Booksellers Association’s 2013 Celebration of Bookselling and Author Awards Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 30, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the Special Events Hall of the Javits Convention Center during BookExpo America. Reservations for this very popular, free event are limited to two booksellers from each ABA member company, regardless of the number of store locations. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join your fellow booksellers and the authors of many of your Indie Next List favorites, as ABA honors the 2013 Indies Choice Book Awards and the E. B. White Read-Aloud Awards winners and finalists at this year’s celebration.

ABA members who would like to attend must complete the Celebration of Bookselling and Author Awards Luncheon reservation form on BookWeb.org. The deadline to sign up is May 10, and table assignments will be sent the week of May 20. Questions about the lunch should be addressed to ABA Development Officer Mark Nichols.

Voting by the owners and staff at ABA member stores for the 2013 award winners begins today. Have a hand in choosing which authors take home awards at the luncheon! Cast your ballot now for the 2013 Indies Choice and E. B. White Read-Aloud awards. Winners will be announced April 18.
