Under the terms of e-book pricing settlements between 49 states and Hachette, HarperCollins, and Simon & Schuster preliminarily approved by a federal court in September, consumers are being informed of their right to claim a portion of the $69 million in settlements.

To take advantage of the Kobo Launch Incentive — which includes free displays, free demo units, sell-through bonuses, product returnability, extended dating, and a cash bonus for participating — ABA member stores must submit a “Kobo Participation Agreement” by midnight ET on Saturday, October 20.

Booksellers who were unable to attend a session on the ABA/Kobo eReading Solution at the regional shows and those who missed last week’s live webinars can now access a recording of the October 12 webinar and question-and-answer session via BookWeb.org.

This year’s edition of the ABC Best Books for Children Catalog  is installed and ready to go on IndieCommerce websites.
